The raw material used is "Yoshino cedar logs" that have been left behind in warehouses due to a decline in demand. Yoshino cedar is produced in the Yoshino forestry region in southern Nara Prefecture, one of Japan's three most beautiful forests. It is famous as one of the luxury brand materials, and is widely loved and used in Japanese houses.
It is a natural material without any chemicals.

◎Easy to ignite

Fire starters and kindling sticks are included, so no fire starter is required.
Blow air through the intake vent.
When using cooking utensils, creating space between the torch and the stove by placing a trivet or similar item will improve air circulation and increase combustion efficiency.

◎What is back splitting?

In order to prevent wood (heartwood) from drying and shrinking, a crack is first made in the back that reaches down to the core of the tree.
Splitting the back of the wood allows it to dry thoroughly all the way to the center, which acts as a substitute for cracks that can occur during the drying process and also makes it less likely for cracks to appear in other places.

Storage method

If stored in an airtight container, moisture from the wood itself can cause condensation and lead to mold.
We recommend storing it at room temperature and humidity away from direct sunlight.
