Hug Blocks are an item that allows you to easily create original furniture using the same feel as blocks.
Even children and women can easily enjoy DIY without using any special tools.
It can be assembled and disassembled repeatedly by simply clamping the boards together and fixing them in place.
It can be resized and reassembled as your child grows, and is also recommended for carrying around on picnics and other outdoor occasions.

Features of laminated timber

This is a popular pine plywood for DIY.

Usage notes

●Do not use the product for any purpose other than its intended use.
●Install on a flat surface.
●The strength against deformation varies depending on the thickness of the object to which it is attached and the conditions. After installing, make sure there is no wobble, and use it within the range where there is no risk of it falling over.
●Please be careful when handling small parts to prevent children from swallowing them.
Do not use this product assembly as a step stool, as it may tip over and cause injury or other accidents.
Do not install this product or any attachments in a location where they will be subject to vibration or shock. Similarly, do not install any objects that will be subject to vibration or shock.
●Using boards of different thicknesses will cause wobbling, so make sure to use boards of the same thickness.
When using screws, use screws whose length is shorter than the plate thickness.
●Do not install or install heavy objects, fragile objects, or valuables such as LCD TVs on this product or the object to be attached.
●If you use the product for a long period of time, check the bolts periodically to make sure they are not loose, and retighten them if necessary.
●Do not use in places with high humidity or in direct sunlight for long periods of time, which may accelerate deterioration of the main body (ABS resin) or wood.

Paint precautions

●Do not use if you are feeling unwell, have allergies or are sensitive to chemicals.
●Handle with care to avoid getting it in your eyes or on your skin, and to avoid accidentally swallowing it.
●Leaving the product on your skin may cause inflammation. Be sure to wear protective gloves.
●Ensure good ventilation during painting and drying, and continue to ventilate occasionally thereafter until the paint smell disappears.
●Please wear clothes that will not be affected by paint when working.
●Avoid painting on days when it looks like it is likely to rain or when the humidity is high, and paint on days when the weather is nice.
When applying and while the paint is drying, make sure the temperature does not fall below 5°C.
●When painting on a dark colored base or a base with large irregularities, if the paint is diluted too much or applied too thinly, it may not be possible to finish the work with one coat.
●Orange and yellow colors are easily affected by the base, so apply two coats if necessary.
●Some wallpaper, caulking materials, and sealants that have been specially surface treated may cause repelling, not adhere well, or be difficult to dry. Please test apply the product in an inconspicuous area to check the color, drying time, and adhesion before applying.
●If you apply this product over alkaline materials such as concrete, mortar, plaster, etc., the odor may become temporarily stronger. If you apply two coats, be sure to wait until the first coat has dried sufficiently before applying the second coat.
●Paint area, drying time, and hue may vary slightly depending on the color, material, amount applied, base, painting method, weather conditions, etc.
●The displayed color and gloss may differ slightly from the actual color and gloss due to printing.
●Discard the container after using up all the paint.
●If you have to throw away paint, solidify it with a paint hardener or spread it on newspaper or something similar and allow it to dry completely before disposing of it as general waste.
●Please be careful not to drop the container as the contents may leak.

Surface preparation, etc.

If powder gets on your fingers when you touch the old paint, remove the old paint using a leather skimmer, wire brush or sandpaper before applying new paint.
●When painting on walls that have cigarette tar or dirt, wipe off the dirt thoroughly or apply a primer coat of Asahipen Tar and Stain Removal Sealer.
●When painting on earthen walls, sand walls, fiber walls, etc., apply a coat of Asahipen Wall Paint Primer or Asahipen Water-based Sealer as a primer.
●For smooth surfaces, roughen the surface with sandpaper before painting. If painting directly onto iron parts, thoroughly remove rust and apply a rust-preventing primer.
When applying to concrete or mortar surfaces, be sure to apply a base coat of Asahipen Strong Penetrating Water-Based Sealer or Asahipen Oil-Based Sealer. When applying to new concrete or mortar, wait at least one month after construction before applying.
●If mold or algae is growing in the area, remove the mold or algae with a mold remover before applying the product.
