Thanks to you, Dear Wall is celebrating its 15th anniversary!
Hello! I'm Hiro, one of our staff.
It feels like the new year has just begun, and already half of January has passed in the blink of an eye. I hope for your continued support in 2023.
Our long-selling product, Dear Wall, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year!
We have been able to celebrate our 15th anniversary thanks to all of your support. Thank you very much.
This time, I would like to introduce you to the inside story behind the development of DearWall.
What led to the development of Dearwall?
Our company is a manufacturer of construction materials that deal in screws and nails, and we mainly handle products aimed at carpenters.
Our company came up with this product in response to a request from a general customer who said, "I want to attach a shelf to the wall and display things, but I don't want to have to drill holes in the wall!"
Difficulties in product development
Our company sells screws and nails that are fastened to walls by drilling holes, so this was the first time we were selling a product that does not require drilling holes in the wall, and it took some time for the company to accept it.
Also, originally it was a large set of frame and boards for attaching the wall to a wall, but we thought that it would be more flexible to install the posts using 2x4 lumber, which is easy to get at a hardware store, so we went with the current version.
The Dear Wall was born, which uses the power of a spring to attach pillars!

Reason for selling
After overcoming many hardships, Dearwall was launched in 2008.
Since it was a completely new product, it didn't sell well at first.
We carried out steady promotional activities, such as holding live demonstration sales at home improvement centers across the country and exhibiting at trade shows.

As a result, word of mouth spread on social media and blogs, and awareness of the product increased dramatically from around 2016. It was also featured on a TV program, and many people became aware of Dear Wall!
It was ranked first in the DIY/Tools/Garden category of the Amazon Ranking Awards for two consecutive years in 2016 and 2017, and was also ranked first in the 2017 annual hit product choice by buyers in the home improvement industry paper "Diamond Home Center."
A product that has been loved for a long time
Thanks to you, total sales of the Dear Wall series have exceeded 3.9 million units!
The lineup has also been expanded to include more colors (4 colors), sizes (for 2x4 lumber, 1x4 lumber, 2x6 lumber, 1x6 lumber), and items (shelf brackets, intermediate joints, board brackets).

There are now 34,000 posts on Instagram under the hashtag "Diawall"! People's ideas for using Diawall are all different, and it's a lot of fun to see how they are being used at home.
