I made some autumn-inspired mini string art decor! -Maple leaves and ginkgo leaves-

Try your hand at handmade crafts!

Hello!
I'm Hiro, one of our staff members.

The heat has subsided and the temperature has become more comfortable.
Autumn is my favorite season, and I can't wait for the season of autumn leaves and ginkgo trees.
As someone who loves autumn, today I'd like to introduce to you "Maple Leaves and Gingko" made using string art. It's a little bit of a taste of autumn!

What is string art? What is Nail it!!?

"String art" is popular overseas and involves creating pictures using nails and string.
" Nail it!!" is a brand that offers nails, thread, and a variety of other items that are perfect for string art.

Have you ever tried string art?

When we introduce string art to customers, we hear a variety of responses, such as, "I did it in middle school class!", "I've done similar handmade crafts before," and "I've never heard of it before!"
There are still many people who don't know about string art, so I hope that more people will discover the joy of string art!

All you have to do is hammer nails into a board and string it, so it's recommended for a wide range of ages, from adults to children! If you're looking for a craft or new hobby for elementary school students, string art is definitely one to consider.

Let's make it!

This introduction was quite long, but I will be making this using kit items that are only available in autumn.

Along with this kit,
I used a plastic hammer, scissors, craft glue, work mat, nail guide, and pliers.

\Driving a nail/

If you think hammering nails seems difficult, don't worry! If you use a nail guide , even beginners can hammer nails easily. It might also be a good way to relieve stress.
Tips on how to use a hammer:
- If you want to hit it softly, hold it near the head. - If you want to hit it hard, hold the end of the handle. When driving in nails, it is easier to use the weight of the hammer head and swing it down.

\Threading/

The veins of the ginkgo tree are expressed by stringing the threads in a regular pattern. Of course, you can also string the threads in various directions to fill in the inside of the tree!

\Complete/

The maple leaves and ginkgo leaves are finished! They have a beautiful, sheer finish.

I put the work in a craft frame and displayed it in the entrance of my house!
You can enjoy autumn by decorating your entrance or living room with it.

In addition to the "Maple Leaves and Gingko" design introduced this time, there are many other designs available.
We are currently distributing the official pattern sheet for free! It is available for download, so please feel free to use it!
